Camasrock Labradors is dedicated to quality purebred Labrador Retrievers with sound
health and temperament. Located in Victoria on southern Vancouver Island, Camasrock is a
CKC registered hobby kennel with all-purpose Labradors suitable for performance,
fieldwork, and family companions.
I specialize in breed-standard black and yellow Labradors carrying top English, Australian
and American bloodlines. Most of our Labs are conformation Champions and have
Obedience, Working or Hunt titles in their pedigrees, promising both brains and beauty.
My first love is the conformation show ring, where correct structure is assessed.
Camasrock is proud home to Canada's top Conformation Labrador Female for 2007
and CKC's first Grand Champion Female Labrador,
GCh Camasrock's Dreamtime CGN.
I occasionally have Labrador puppies or older labs available to approved homes. All breeding
dogs are certified clear of Hip and Elbow dysplasia by OFA or OVC, DNA tested for PRA
and EIC, and ACVO examined annually for hereditary eye diseases.
Camas is a native wildflower of the Pacific Northwest that grows in purple profusion
over the rocky outcrop in front of our log house, hence our kennel name.
